Katie Rose attended SHOWCASE INTERNATIONAL LLC. in 2009 as an entry from Southwest
Florida Models and was immediately signed by Susan Lunetta, owner/director of the EXXCEL
Agency. Katie has now been chosen to appear in the hit show BURN NOTICE on the USA channel.

When I got the call from Ms. Barbara Gilbraith giving my daughter, Brandi,
the chance to go to NYC and be apart of such a prestigious event, I must admit, I
was floored. I had always been told that I should get my daughter into modeling,
even as an infant, but never got the chance. Being a parent, you always think that
your child has "what it takes" to be a model, or an actress, or maybe a singer.
The more I spoke with Ms. Gilbraith, the more excited we became. When time came
to go to NYC, I had to overcome many fears, ie flying and elevators. I did so
gladly. I would highly recommend to anyone that if they get a chance to become
involved with Showcase International, as-well-as the chance to work with Ms.
Barbara Gilbraith, they jump on it. I won't say that it is a piece of cake.
For the kids that accept this once in a lifetime experience, it is work, with
play included. The kids work with experts in the field to learn how to walk,
stand, pose, and talk. All of the hard work leads up to a chance to "perform"
in front of agents from all over the US. I want the best for my daughter, and
I feel that the experience has helped to equip her with confidence that she didn't
have before. In addition to meeting with the agents, we also got to tour the city.
It is exhilarating. We come from a small, southern town but I can tell you, we
kept up with the pace without any trouble. My daughter actually shocked me by
saying that she would have no trouble moving to NYC. I want to say, with all
sincerity, I thank Barbara Gilbraith, and all of the people involved in bringing
together a wonderful group of children who share a dream of a life full of excitement
and wonder. The friends that my daughter made during these four days in a balmy NYC will
hopefully last a lifetime. I know that this trip will be remembered and cherished forever.

We enrolled our daughter Sean in Showcase International last summer. We wanted
her to become more comfortable among adults and gain confidence. We are so pleased
with the outcome of our investment. Sean enjoyed the rehearsals and the show in New
York City. She was at ease with everyone she met, including the aspiring models and
the talent agents. We were very pleased to see her model and speak in front of an
audience. We were delighted to see how she much poise and confidence she has
acquired over the past year. We are enjoying this experience as a family. Sean is
delighted that she was asked to sign with Exxel Model & Talent agency. We are optimistic
that the future will hold many exciting opportunities for Sean. We are very grateful
for our wonderful experience with Showcase International and thank Barbara Gilbraith
for her patience, gentle guidance, and insight into the world of modeling and performing.

I loved my experience with Ms. Gilbraith and Showcase International! From the moment I met Ms. Gilbraith I knew I was going to be treated as an individual and not just another number in the modeling world. Ms. Gilbraith has given me direction in starting my modeling career and continues to check in and provide assistance when needed. The Showcase International NYC trip was fun and exciting. I learned more modeling techniques from Ms. Gilbraith and her staff in two days then I had in my modeling school experience. Ms. Gilbraith and her staff were fun to work with and made me feel comfortable working around the NYC agents, which can be very overwhelming. Through this NYC event with Showcase International, I was able to sign on with Excel
Modeling and hopefully begin my modeling career. I am thankful for Ms. Gilbraith's knowledge
and guidance in this process. |

Showcase International LLC 2010 was one of the best experiences of my life. Being new
to the modeling industry, I was worried. But after time I got used to it, and I made a few
friends along the way. The trip to New York City was fantastic. Models from all over the country
that are in Showcase International gathered in New York to be presented to agents in different
ways. You had to walk the runway, act out a monologue, do a commercial, and pose. There were
even a few who sang! After that there was a big dinner where you ate with all the agents and
models. Getting to know these many new people, it was overwhelming at first. But this was an
experience that I will truly cherish, and I hope to see you all again next year!

Samuel had a great time at Showcase International this past summer. Dinner with agents
and a visit backstage in a Broadway theater were the highlights of the week. He received four

Entering without any experience in modeling or acting and being only 5' 2" I was unsure of my chances for success however without SHOWCASE INTERNATIONAL I would not be in the position I am in today - signing with EXXCEL MODEL/TALENT! I received so much information about these industries provided by the panel and even other participants I met that I feel I am ready to give EXXCEL my very best. "As a fashion Buyer in New York City for more than 20 years and the fashion consultant for the last two for SHOWCASE INTERNATIONAL I have received many requests from aspiring models on how to get started in Fashion Modeling. I was introduced to Danny Etkin just this way. I immediately recognized his potential. "Just wanted to let you know that Juliana's Talent Showcase International experience was absolutely wonderful. We both loved the personal touches, being introduced to and having dinner with the talent managers, agents and casting directors, and the seminars were very informative. We met some of the nicest people who were all willing to help your girls. Thank you also for introducing us to Bob Blume, he was very interested in the girls and went out of his way to give great advice about showbiz and how to get started. Juliana and I were both so very impressed when Bob invited us to see the first reading of the next Broadway show, "One for My Baby" . Judy McLane (Broadway) personally invited Jul to go backstage during one of the shows and meet all of the actors. All of your hard work putting this program together is appreciated by us because Juliana ended up getting an acting contract with Cazz Management and we are headed back to New York September 19th to see him. "Hi. I have to say, the Showcase was amazing. I got to perform in front of agents, directors, producers and a bunch of other people in the modeling and acting business. Everyone had their own time to walk on the runway and do all sorts of acting such as, a monologue, a commercial, a mini skit, voiceovers and a lot more. I also got to go to the Garment District and see all types of designer clothing and learn all about what goes on to sell these items. On top of all the excitement I got to walk around New York City, stay at a beautiful hotel and meet a lot of friends. I went to the showcase in August and right now it is December and agents that saw me at the showcase are still calling me asking for my comp cards and pictures, I even was considered for a movie and a lot of other things. I had a great time and I am so happy I had this opportunity. This was one of the experiences I'll never forget." Kim |
